The Securing Good Programme now been running for five years and has contributed to improved standards in attainment and leadership for the schools involved - as well as 83% of schools attending the programme receiving a 'good' Ofsted grade when subsequently inspected.
“Thanks to [the Consultant Head’s] support we are in a much stronger position to achieve ‘good’ at our next inspection”.
“This has been a really useful programme: the quality of the conferences has been good with useful strategies at presenting evidence of school practise to the inspection team. The chance to see a good school in action was also useful: it should be remembered that what works in one school may not be appropriate for another, but cherry picking and applying to own school priorities has been immensely valuable”.
“We would like to add our appreciation of the excellent work undertaken on our behalf, by the consultant Headteacher; whilst also mentioning the fact that his staff and children were very accommodating when the SLT visited”.
"It was extremely helpful to hear directly from Her Majesty’s Inspectors about definitions, framework and presenting evidence."
