Programme Overview
This service is most effectively delivered by a small group comprising the LLS primary team, a National Leader of Education (NLE) and LA personnel in conjunction with the senior leadership of the school.
Programme Content:
- Working in partnership with the leadership team to evaluate teaching and learning and to assist in identifying actions for improvement for individual teachers.
- Supporting the leadership team to make the most effective use of information obtained from work scrutiny, progress and attainment data and lesson observations to inform school improvement and development planning.
- Considering the academic and social systems in use in a school and their contribution to ethos and to establishing an outstanding teaching and learning environment in which both staff and pupils are successful.
